Ingredients

  • 235 g heavy cream 1 cup
  • 185 g whole milk ¾ cup
  • 50 g granulated sugar ¼ cup
  • 30 g cream cheese 2 tbsp softened
  • 15 g Cointreau 1 tbsp
  • 15 g fresh orange juice 1 tbsp
  • ½ tsp orange zest
  • 4.5 g vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • 1.5 g fine salt ¼ tsp

Instructions

  • Whisk cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add zest and combine.
  • Whisk in cream, milk, salt, Cointreau, juice, and vanilla until uniform.
  • Pour into pint container. Do not exceed MAX FILL. Freeze flat 24 hours.
  • Spin on ICE CREAM. Re-spin if crumbly.
  • Serve immediately or refreeze 1–2 hours.

Notes

Cointreau is 80 proof — keep at 1 tbsp. The creamsicle identity comes from balancing orange and vanilla equally. This is not the same flavor profile as Grand Marnier Orange Cream; it’s sweeter, more nostalgic, deliberately reminiscent of the childhood ice cream bar. Orange zest goes directly into the base.
